All around the table

Ratia is a Japanese organic cosmetic and healthy products brand that franchised its first retail shop in the trendy Cheongdam district, in the hearth of Gangnam.

The Flagship store wants to be an all-around experience where body and space successfully merge.

A big Corian table, placed at the center of the first level, contains all the ingredients of a well-balanced life, and it represents the total philosophy of the Company. Skin care products on display at the entrance, natural plants used as a screen and built into the large surface, care advices available in private counseling booths, healthy food and drinks prepared on the spot in the kitchen area, good time management carved into the table right at the entrance and social entertainment and relaxation taking place in the open lounge.

The outside of the building, originally covered with black polished stone, has been wrapped into a white punched metal linen used both as a screen and as a company signboard. Different layers of translucent materials [dotted glass, bamboo, white cloth] appear behind this first cover enhancing the attractive qualities of the new building skin.
